Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering needs of our hotel property.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the engineering staff and report any issues to the General Manager or Director of Engineering.
  • Build, repair, and paint all parts of the hotel.
  • Install and repair electrical wiring and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Fabricate and repair furniture and fixtures.
  • Attend all scheduled training classes and meetings.
  • Assist in delivery and set up of all new equipment.
  • Communicate with the Director of Engineering on projects as assigned.
  • Supervise shift engineers on day-to-day repairs and engineering needs on property.
  • Conduct daily checks on shift engineers' daily work and make suggestions and corrections as needed.
  • Work with the Director of Engineering to coordinate weekly work schedules.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related experience as a shift engineer at a full-service hotel.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
