Job Title: Staff Developer

Canyon GBS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Developer to join our innovative team. As a Staff Developer, you will play a pivotal role in leading complex technical projects and initiatives, providing mentorship to other developers, and influencing the architectural direction of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to complex software projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Mentor and guide other developers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Influence and make key technical decisions regarding the architectural direction of projects.
  • Utilize IDEs like VS Code and version control systems like git and GitHub to manage and review code.
  • Support development operations and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions.
  • Drive innovation by staying current with emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Ensure scalable, maintainable, and efficient software architecture design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development, with a proven track record of leading technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and modern development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
  • Proven expertise in Ionic, Tailwind CSS, Vue, Laravel, Livewire, and Filament.
  • Extensive experience integrated artificial intelligence features in software using Azure chat completions and assistants APIs.
  • Proficiency in using remote development environments, particularly Coder.
  • Competence in deploying to test environments, using IDEs like VS Code, and managing code with git/GitHub.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
  • Experience in making architectural decisions and driving technical strategy.
  • Proficiency in GitHub actions and supporting development operations.
