Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing radiographic scanning and imaging procedures, working under the clinical direction of a radiologist and mammography development specialist. You will apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic imaging, mammography imaging diagnosis, and treatment planning, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and services.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic scanning and imaging procedures, including mammography imaging, with attention to detail and friendly guest services.
- Work under the clinical direction of a radiologist and mammography development specialist, with general supervision of the center manager, technical director, and mammography supervisor.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and services.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent hospital-based program.
- Current ARRT and State of Florida license to practice medical radiography.
- CPR Basic Life Support certification.
- 1-2 years of radiography experience preferred in an outpatient setting.
