Your Role:
In this position, you will operate under general supervision, managing the Diagnostic XR workflow to ensure optimal functionality. You will perform imaging for Diagnostic XR examinations in accordance with established protocols. Additionally, you will mentor and support the development of fellow technologists and students by overseeing image quality and providing technical assistance. You will foster positive relationships with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals, while actively engaging in superior customer service.
Qualifications for Success:
Required Licensure and Certifications:
· State Radiographer License
· ARRT (R) Certification
· Basic Life Support Certification
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
· Proficient understanding of emergency, operating room, and fluoroscopic imaging techniques
· Familiarity with diagnostic radiological procedures and positioning
· Ability to assess and determine appropriate technical parameters
· Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment
· Capacity to learn and adapt to new imaging tasks and radiation safety protocols
· Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse team
· Competence in managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
· Excellent organizational abilities
Education and Experience:
· Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting as a Registered Technologist
Preferred Skills:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Familiarity with PACS and related technologies
· Understanding of hospital protocols and standards
· Experience with hospital information systems
· Knowledge of quality assurance standards in imaging
· Strong troubleshooting skills
