Job Details: This full-time role encompasses 72-80 hours within a two-week pay cycle, with daytime shifts and weekly hours ranging from 36 to 40.

Responsibilities: As a Hospital Physical Therapist, your primary duties will include:

  • Designing and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy programs aimed at restoring functionality and preventing disabilities resulting from illness, injury, or loss of bodily function.
  • Assisting patients in achieving their highest potential and reintegrating into society while adapting to their capabilities.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Baccalaureate, Master's, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a physical therapist in South Dakota.

Physical Requirements: This role necessitates physical endurance for lifting, carrying, and manipulating therapeutic equipment, along with standing, walking, stooping, pulling, pushing, and lifting during patient transfers and treatment sessions. Effective communication skills are essential, requiring visual, auditory, and speech acuity to interact with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Work Environment: The position is conducted in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment, with potential travel to outreach locations.
