We are currently seeking an experienced Culinary Specialist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our residents, guests, and staff members while adhering to the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Responsibilities:- Prepare a variety of meals according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards, ensuring timely service and consistent quality.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various culinary techniques, including butchering, sautéing, braising, and sauce preparation.
- Collaborate with the culinary team, nutritionists, and healthcare professionals to accommodate special dietary needs, allergies, and food intolerances of residents.
- Assist in menu creation, recipe tasting, and special event planning, contributing to a diverse and appealing dining experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments regarding food orders, inventory levels, and any necessary adjustments.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- One year of experience in a culinary role within a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ServSafe Manager Certificate.
- Local Health Department Food Handler Card.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
