Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Executive to join our Government Solutions team. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the public safety industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, industry events, and networking. Generate new leads and opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' business challenges and goals. Present and demonstrate technology solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Create compelling and persuasive presentations to showcase the value proposition of our technology products and services. Effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions, addressing client pain points and demonstrating ROI.
  • Negotiating and Closing: Develop and execute sales strategies to overcome objections and close new business deals. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new clients.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers. Provide ongoing support and account management to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics. Provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of increasingly responsible experience in national sales, including extensive cold calling.
  • Proven track record in outside sales, with a focus on acquiring new customers selling SaaS solutions in the public safety industry.
  • Strong understanding of technology and software solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-driven with a focus on exceeding sales targets.
  • Channel partner management experience required.
  • RFP process experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Basic knowledge of sales preferred.

The hiring range for this position is anticipated between $95,000 – 105,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for commissions with a total amount at plan between $95,000 – 105,000. Total package ranges from $190,000 – 210,000 depending on experience.
