Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hearing Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Coastal Ear Nose & Throat LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audiological evaluations, providing hearing aid counseling, and maintaining audiological equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure tone thresholds, speech reduction thresholds, and word discrimination testing.
  • Provide personalized hearing aid counseling, discussing various options and recommending the best fit for each patient.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, including test results and recommendations.
  • Assist in the preparation of audiology reports for referring physicians.
  • Clean and maintain audiological equipment, reporting any issues or need for calibration to the supervising audiologist.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Requirements:

  • A college education is required, and audiology certification is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to accurately conduct tests and interpret results.
  • A neat, professional appearance and strong attention to detail.
