Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is staffed by a dedicated group of professionals committed to providing top-tier care for patients facing complex health challenges. We adhere to a comprehensive care model that emphasizes evidence-based practices and is centered around the patient. Our focus includes thorough patient assessments, safety protocols, and extensive education for both patients and their families, all while coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team.

Position Details:

The caregiver in this role will work on a Day/Night Rotation, with shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm or 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to patients.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust patient care plans as necessary.
  • Document and communicate patient conditions effectively.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
  • Assess and facilitate patient discharge needs.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding care and health management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • At least one year of recent acute care RN experience, including military RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform a full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients.
  • Capacity to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and during irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
