Job Overview

Marc Jacobs International is seeking a dedicated Stock Associate to enhance our team. This role is essential in maintaining the operational flow of goods within our retail environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure a systematic organization of merchandise in the stock area and facilitate its transition to the sales floor.
  • Review and rectify any pricing discrepancies on products.
  • Maintain the stockroom in accordance with company standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing merchandise shipments.
  • Prepare items for vendor returns, transfers, or customer deliveries.
  • Track packages and manage the UPS log efficiently.
  • Coordinate hand deliveries as needed.
  • Perform errands to support store operations.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean and orderly.
  • Participate in annual inventory and monthly stock counts.
  • Assist sales staff during peak periods on the sales floor.
  • This is a part-time position requiring availability for at least three weekdays and one weekend day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or stock management.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Proficient in customer service.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general internet usage.
  • Experience with Retail Pro is advantageous.
