Internal Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team at Olympic College. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management, and processes associated with our finances.

• Develop a risk-based audit plan that aligns with our strategic goals and objectives.
• Conduct comprehensive fieldwork, including interviewing key personnel, observing operations, and testing transactions and controls.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls within the audit scope.
• Identify control weaknesses and assess their impact on our operations.
• Prepare draft audit reports that clearly communicate the audit's objectives, scope, methodology, findings, and recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of auditing experience, preferably in an educational or public sector environment.
• Knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk management principles.
