Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner to join our team at CalibreScientific Inc. As a Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing the manufacturing/distribution process to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze historical sales data, upcoming sales changes, and market trends to make predictions for future demand.
- Implement inventory control strategies to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in production planning and execution.
- Issues purchase orders to key vendors.
- Implement best practices to enhance overall production performance.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential production risks, such as supply chain disruptions or changes in customer demand.
- Develop contingency plans to address unexpected issues and ensure minimal impact on production schedules.
- Generate reports to track key performance indicators and provide insights for decision-making.
- Develop meaningful partnerships with key suppliers.
- Identify cost savings through research or product requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Finance, economics, business, or related four-year degree preferred.
- A minimum of four years previous experience in a similar role is desired.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Expert skills in spreadsheets and word processor usage.
- Adeptness at reviewing data and extracting meaningful performance indicators.
- Knowledge of database software and order processing systems.
- Previous experience using an ERP system is preferred.
