We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interventional cardiology program.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide safe care to patients undergoing interventional procedures, including balloon pump, angiojet peripheral interventions, and rotoblator.
- Direct and coordinate the care of assigned personnel, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a smooth transition to post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of our cath lab program and patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.
- Experience in cardiovascular nursing, preferably in a cath lab setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including per diem days.
