Position Overview:
As a Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will oversee client relations and project execution, focusing on both technical and financial aspects. Your role will encompass business development across various sectors, including commercial land development, energy, and environmental projects. Collaborating with senior leadership in the Civil/Site Practice, you will cultivate strong client relationships to align with their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project workflows and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences and client meetings to facilitate project planning and coordination.
- Work alongside CEC professionals nationwide to identify new business opportunities and foster relationships.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of client submissions and mentor junior team members in project planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in design and permitting, including stormwater management and municipal approvals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in civil design and permitting, particularly in layout, grading, and erosion control.
- Proven track record in business development and opportunity generation.
- Established reputation within the regional marketplace, with strong connections to regulatory agencies.
- Exceptional skills in communication, strategic planning, negotiation, and presentations.
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary projects effectively.
- Passion for mentoring and developing junior staff.
