Salary
The compensation package for this employed position includes a competitive salary range of $503,000 per year, plus production incentives. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus of $60,000, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our team at the David Walsh Cancer Center at Sterling Regional Medical Center. As a Radiation Oncologist with Banner Health, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists, surgeons, and support staff, to provide comprehensive cancer care to patients. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various types of cancer using radiation therapy, as well as collaborating with other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your expertise and experience will play a vital role in helping us achieve our goal of providing high-quality, patient-centered care to those in need.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Residency program, fellowship training in Radiation Oncology, and board certification in Radiation Oncology. Experience in a similar setting is highly preferred. We also require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide compassionate and effective care. Additionally, your ability to adapt to new technologies, techniques, and evidence-based practices will enable you to contribute meaningfully to our organization's commitment to excellence in cancer care.
