Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist

As an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our vehicles meet or exceed regulatory requirements and internal standards for electromagnetic compatibility.

• Collaborate with vehicle teams to verify that our latest technology meets or exceeds EMC requirements and standards.
• Oversee EMC lab testing at the vehicle level, verify results, and sign off for compliance.
• Work with product teams to resolve and correct issues that do not meet prescribed performance levels.
• Represent the EMC team by documenting performance and providing product teams with guidance on the path to shipment.
• Support the design of Electrical/Electronic (E/E) commodities/subsystems with respect to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical degree.
• 2+ years of relevant EMC experience in E/E commodity design and validation, or vehicle EMC design and validation.
• 2+ years of demonstrated experience working with electrical test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators.

• MSEE with a focus on RF systems and electromagnetics, plus 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills leveraging applied electromagnetic theoretical concepts.
• NARTE Certified EMC Engineer.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and finish tasks on time.
• Goal-oriented, and a team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A self-starter, motivated, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
