Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist

As an Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our vehicles meet or exceed regulatory requirements and internal standards for electromagnetic compatibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with vehicle teams to verify that our latest technology meets or exceeds EMC requirements and standards.
- Oversee EMC lab testing at the vehicle level, verify results, and sign off for compliance.
- Work with product teams to resolve and correct issues that do not meet prescribed performance levels.
- Represent the EMC team by documenting performance and providing product teams with guidance on the path to shipment.
- Support the design of Electrical/Electronic (E/E) commodities/subsystems with respect to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical degree.
- 2+ years of relevant EMC experience in E/E commodity design and validation, or vehicle EMC design and validation.
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience working with electrical test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role; you must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- MSEE with a focus on RF systems and electromagnetics, plus 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills leveraging applied electromagnetic theoretical concepts.
- NARTE Certified EMC Engineer.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and finish tasks on time.
- Goal-oriented, and a team player with good interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter, motivated, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
