Job Title: Audiologist - Full Time

Join Alomere Health as an Audiologist and contribute to the prevention, identification, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing, balance, and related disorders for individuals of all ages.

Job Summary

The Audiologist will provide patient-centered care, collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible outcomes. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and with a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and identify disorders of human hearing, balance, and tinnitus, interpreting results of behavioral and objective measures.
  • Counsel patients about hearing health and the possible need for treatment/management.
  • Assess the candidacy of persons with hearing loss for hearing aids and cochlear implants, providing fitting, programming, and audiologic rehabilitation.
  • Perform otoscopic examination of ear canals and ear drum, manage the removal of excessive cerumen, and make ear impressions.
  • Recommend and provide hearing aid selection, fitting, and programming, as well as hearing assistive technology systems.
  • Counsel and educate patients and families/caregivers on the psychosocial adjustments of hearing loss.
Requirements
  • Audiology Master's Degree.
  • Training Completed after August 30, 2007: Doctoral Degree is required with emphasis in audiology.
  • MN Audiologist License.
  • ASHA CCC Certification (preferred).
