MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Surgical Intensive Care Unit Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in a top healthcare facility.

Job Summary
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced SICU environment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Manage complex patient conditions, including life-threatening problems requiring advanced therapies and interventions.
Responsibilities
  • Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration.
  • Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment, such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
  • Document patient care and medication administration accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in emergency nursing procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements
  • Active RN license.
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care SICU setting.
