As a Software Engineer III at Google, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for developing cutting-edge technologies that transform the way billions of users interact with information and each other. Our products require handling vast amounts of data, and we're looking for engineers who can bring innovative ideas from various areas, including information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, and data storage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions for our AR platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure the best technologies are used for our products.
  • Review and provide feedback on code developed by other engineers to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Triage and debug product or system issues, analyzing sources and impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • 2 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, or natural language processing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with performance, large-scale systems, data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis, and resolution, and software test engineering.
