Overview

Lovely Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Orthopaedics team in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical and administrative duties to support effective patient care
  • Greet patients, escort them to exam rooms, and perform vital signs and other related tasks
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical practices and patient care in a clinical setting
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • One year of recent experience in a medical facility performing Medical Assistant duties or equivalent
  • Must maintain BLS certification and training in venipuncture
  • Technical training in medical equipment, including AED, autoclave, and EKG machine
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution
  • Registered or nationally certified Medical Assistant
  • Cross-trained in other clinical specialties, such as Ob/Gyn, Neurology, and Pediatrics
