Clinical Nurse Coordinator Job Description

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team in Gainesville, Florida.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care in a hematologic cancer setting, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify and address patient needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-care and empowerment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of acute care leadership experience in a specialty setting.
  • BSN required, MSN preferred.
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient management of AML, ALL, Burkitt's Lymphoma preferred.
  • Transplant and Cellular Therapy experience preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of FL or current active multistate license.
  • Bone Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN), or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), or Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
