Clinical Nurse Specialist: Infectious Disease/Secure Unit

We are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our caregiving team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to our patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, coordinate, plan, direct, implement, and manage the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge.
- Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team, ensuring competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers.
- Collaborate with referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients to ensure seamless care transitions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in nursing, with a focus on infectious disease and secure unit care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
