Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Master's degree in educational leadership or a related field, along with a minimum of five (5) years of successful administrative or managerial experience, complemented by five (5) years of teaching experience.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Governing Board.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Chief Educational Officer will supervise all personnel within the REA/SAM consortium.
Position Goals:
The primary goal is to provide effective leadership in managing the administrative, instructional, and support staff, ensuring the successful planning, organization, and coordination of consortium activities, as approved by the Governing Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, maintenance, and evaluation of a comprehensive educational program tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Advise the Governing Board on educational, administrative, and support service plans, addressing challenges and requirements.
- Coordinate staff efforts to ensure efficient operations across all facets of the consortium.
- Oversee the financial planning and budget preparation for the consortium.
- Recommend transportation plans for students in compliance with safety regulations.
- Advise on the necessary plans and procedures to ensure adequate educational facilities and the proper management of school properties.
- Interpret and implement policies established by the Governing Board.
- Utilize strategic planning to create and execute a management system for the consortium.
- Act as a liaison between the Governing Board and the broader community, fostering effective public relations to communicate the consortium's educational objectives.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including administrators, parents, community leaders, and officials, to promote collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant educational statutes and regulations.
- Maintain positive labor relations and serve as the chief negotiator.
- Recommend personnel actions to the Governing Board.
- Assist in developing the departmental budget and contribute to the District's Capital Outlay Plan.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Governing Board.

Compensation:
Starting salary from $75,000.00 annually.

Education Requirement:

Certification:
