Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to join our eight-person team. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment, and utilizing state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort, and provide education throughout treatment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patients' health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, and place and expedite orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, if required under the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
