CMP Process Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute CMP polishing operations to ensure optimal wafer characteristics
  • Perform inspections on incoming wafers, including measurements and documentation
  • Set up machinery for processing and select appropriate process recipes
  • Oversee equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct routine maintenance
  • Safely manage chemicals and adhere to established safety protocols
  • Support engineering-led polishing experiments and contribute to process enhancement

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with computer systems and analytical problem-solving
  • Understanding of 5S methodology is advantageous

Required Skills

  • Mechanical skills and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to follow established procedures and propose enhancements
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles is a plus

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels
  • Closed-toe footwear is mandatory

Physical Demands

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity is essential
