MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT SANITATION EXPERIENCE IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT

Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking skilled Sanitation Specialists for a prominent cookie manufacturing facility.

Work Schedule: 1st shift – 5-6 days/week. Shifts may vary between 8-12 hours. Typical start time is 6am, but it may be adjusted to 4:00 am.

Qualifications for a Sanitation Specialist:

  • At least 6 months of recent sanitation experience in a high-demand setting.
  • Strong communication skills are essential; bilingual abilities are advantageous but not required.
  • Capability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-oriented department.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and extended hours when necessary, particularly during audit preparations.
  • Familiarity with sanitation equipment such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, and foamers is preferred.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities of the Sanitation Specialist:

  • Perform cleaning and sanitization of production machinery and lines during product transitions.
  • Responsibilities include general cleaning and upkeep of production areas, detailed cleaning of inactive equipment, sanitizing drains, and maintaining the exterior cleanliness of the facility.
  • Collect waste from various locations and dispose of it in designated containers.
  • Consistently wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) for each assigned task.
  • Organize and store equipment while ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness in office spaces, break rooms, and locker areas.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required as needed.

We are also recruiting for roles in warehouse operations, forklift operation, sanitation, and general labor.
