Role Overview: As a Café Coach, you will play a pivotal role in leading a dynamic Café team and curating exceptional experiences for our customers.
As the representative of Capital One within the community, you will forge partnerships with local organizations and collaborate with vendors to drive new business opportunities.
Your responsibilities extend beyond managing the Café Ambassador team; you will also serve as a trusted mentor, guiding their professional growth and enhancing overall team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, mentoring Café Ambassadors to achieve personal and professional development.
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by maintaining the Café environment and coaching team members.
- Drive continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and fostering a culture of discovery.
- Exhibit strong leadership with a focus on customer-centric goals and metrics.
- Engage with Café visitors, providing assistance and showcasing our services and products.
- Build community connections by collaborating with local businesses and organizations for events.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to learn about Capital One’s offerings to better assist customers.
- Showcase digital tools and guide customers in navigating our online services.
- Act as a customer advocate, readily available to provide assistance and clear guidance.
- Inspire and motivate a team of Café Ambassadors, fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
Basic:
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
- Minimum of 2 years in Customer, Retail, or Financial Services
- At least 1 year of People Management experience or 2 years in Retail Banking
Preferred:
- 3+ years in Customer, Retail, or Financial Services
- 2+ years of People Management experience
- Bachelor's Degree
Compensation: The salary range for this role is competitive and varies by location.
This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
