Position Title: Senior Retrofit Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful execution of all project components.
  • Prepare and manage monthly financial forecasts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and financial targets.
  • Direct the overall operations of the contract, including the organization of turnover meetings, scope definition, construction timelines, client relations, job cost management, and compliance with project specifications.
  • Assess and ensure the efficient functioning of the project while managing operational costs in line with the budget and contractual stipulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and supervision to the team assigned to your projects.
  • Foster relationships with all stakeholders involved in the projects, including clients, vendors, and internal resources.
  • Consult and inform client personnel on construction-related issues and challenges.
  • Advise project coordinators on procurement of materials, supplies, and services.
  • Maintain thorough records and procedures to ensure effective management and productivity.
  • Promote a strong safety culture consistent with company values and comply with all safety regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all project-related documentation and correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in HVAC plumbing or building management controls.
  • At least 15 years of experience in project management within General Trades.
  • Proven experience managing projects valued between $500,000 and $5 million.
  • Expertise in preparing proposals, defining scopes of work, scheduling, and coordinating site contractors.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and manage all facets of new or renovation projects.
  • Proficient in collaborating with diverse groups of professionals and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in leading teams and organizing group efforts.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively while adapting to shifting priorities.
