Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to oversee the construction of large, complex projects or multiple small and medium-sized projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, design, finance, and management.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall administrative and technical direction for one large, complex project or multiple small and medium-sized projects.
  • Interface with client representatives, architects/engineers, subcontractors, end users, security, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate boundaries.
  • Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendents to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
  • Authorize and approve purchase requisitions, change requests, and other project-related documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain official project logs and documentation files.
  • Assist with the implementation and interpretation of safety programs.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including fee payment, rental equipment, income, and expenses.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by regional management.
Qualifications:
  • 4-year construction management/engineering degree or equivalent professional training and experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience and knowledge of commercial construction activities, design, finance, and management.
  • Experience in k-12 or higher education preferred.
  • Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including tact, diplomacy, influence, and business acumen.
