The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Guest Room Specialist, a fantastic opportunity to be part of the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville.
The Guest Room Specialist plays a crucial role in the Housekeeping Team, ensuring that guest rooms and suites meet the highest industry standards, providing ultimate comfort for our visitors. A keen eye for detail, a strong sense of quality and integrity, and a passion for outstanding service are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards.
- Inspect all rooms (both vacant and occupied) for cleanliness, missing amenities, and supplies.
- Deliver genuine hospitality and promote hotel services and products.
- Anticipate guest needs and take ownership of concerns and requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle all relevant equipment and machinery safely, reporting any defects or accidents to management immediately.
- Report and return any property or guest keys found in 'check out' rooms to the Housekeeping Office.
- Maintain tidy and well-stocked linen rooms, ensuring working equipment is clean and in good order.
- Inform management of rooms that do not require service or have privacy signs in the assigned area.
- Notify managers of any linens that need replacement.
- Report damages, repairs, or maintenance issues through the appropriate channels.
- Complete deep cleaning of rooms as assigned by management.
- Report any suspicious activity or health and safety hazards to management.
- Perform any additional cleaning duties as directed by management.
- Collaborate harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel staff.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in luxury hotel housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English.
- Flexibility with scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening/overnight shifts.
