Mills James is seeking a skilled Audiovisual Specialist to join our Hospitality AV team in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting live events and meetings in hotel properties.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with property staff to maximize sales and service effectiveness and exceed customer expectations.
- Manage daily setup and strike of AV equipment for meetings and events.
- Perform essential maintenance on AV equipment and maintain inventory.
- Lead and train other AV technicians.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in a hospitality environment.
- Possess basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and computers for meeting and event purposes.
- Understand signal flow and have experience with computer IT or video conferencing.
- Proven excellent client service skills, strong communication, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and good troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to drive box trucks and cargo vans.
- Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
- Minimum one year of experience in the audiovisual industry.
