Job Overview

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our assembly operations team at Beneficial Talent Source. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Supervise production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed all established quality requirements, including product integrity and production order documentation.
  • Team Leadership: Direct all related personnel actions, including final selection, training, performance appraisal, discipline, and safety.
  • Priority Setting: Determine manufacturing priorities based on established daily/weekly production schedules and ensure daily assignments are communicated to the team.
  • Quality Assurance: Interpret specifications and make judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process while ensuring product quality meets company/customer standards.
  • Safety Management: Implement departmental safety programs to ensure safety of employees working in the area. Report safety concerns, incidents, and accidents to the Safety Manager, Director of Operations, and HR immediately.
  • Problem-Solving: Assist associates in problem-solving and exercise considerable judgment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Direct routine equipment maintenance and set-up.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Degree and/or minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience.
  • Lean Experience: Extensive Lean Experience, 6S, Kanban, Kaizen events, etc.
  • Manufacturing Background: Direct experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Certification: Lean Certified
