Job Summary

The Janitorial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including supervising a team of janitorial staff, managing schedules and payroll, and ensuring high-quality cleaning services are provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise Janitorial Staff: Manage a team of janitorial staff, including scheduling, training, and disciplining as needed.
  • Manage Account Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned account, including managing schedules, payroll, and inventory.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage Escalated Issues: Handle any escalated issues or situations promptly and professionally.
  • Manage Uniforms, Equipment, and Supplies: Ensure that all necessary uniforms, equipment, and supplies are available and in good working condition.
  • Communicate with Clients: Take a proactive role in communicating with clients, meeting their needs, and providing expertise and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bi-lingual Spanish/English: Ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English.
  • Business Management Experience: 6 months of experience in business management, operations, or supervisory experience in facilities or client-focused sites.
  • Excellent Computer Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Management Experience: Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in a union environment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including different on-call times daily.
