Cynet Systems is seeking a highly skilled Exterior Component Engineer to join our team. As an Exterior Component Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing exterior components for our vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Simulation and Analysis: Prepare and perform crash safety-related impact simulations using LS-DYNA, evaluating the results through careful analysis of crash simulations.
- Performance Evaluation: Measure these simulations against the target automobile performance criteria based on advanced safety standards such as the New Car Assessment Program and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety criteria in addition to Honda's internal safety standards.
- Countermeasure Development: Determine the appropriate countermeasures to meet the criteria if simulation outcomes are below target performance.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure that exterior components meet safety and performance requirements.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of industry experience as a CAE analyst, with specific solver software usage depending on department specialty area.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in LS-DYNA, ANSA, and Meta-Post, with experience in complex vehicle system level CAE model construction, visualization, and analysis.
