Job Opportunity: Phlebotomist

This is a contract-to-hire position with potential for permanent employment. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced laboratory setting, assisting in the collection of blood and other specimens for testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and store specimens according to established procedures
  • Properly label, centrifuge, and freeze specimens as required
  • Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes
  • Package specimens for transport
  • Store specimen samples according to required temperature
Requirements:
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed
  • Minimum 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a lab or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or GED
