The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Rochester is seeking academic anesthesiologists across various ranks including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialized knowledge in areas such as Liver Transplant, Ambulatory, Cardiac, Obstetrics, Regional and Acute Pain, Pediatric, or General Anesthesiology.

Position Summary:

  • Delivering anesthesia services to patients
  • Instructing residents through both practical and theoretical methods
  • Supervising Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
  • Opportunities for engaging in independent and collaborative research, along with developing innovative educational strategies

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York State Medical License and DEA registration

Compensation: Salary range is $317,419 - $504,240 annually.

This salary range reflects the minimum and maximum annual compensation for this faculty position. The actual salary will be determined based on various factors including market conditions, educational qualifications, work experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. There may also be opportunities for performance-based compensation discussed during the recruitment process.
