The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Rochester is actively seeking academic anesthesiologists across various ranks, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialized knowledge in areas such as Liver Transplant, Ambulatory, Cardiac, Obstetrics, Regional and Acute Pain, Pediatric, or General Anesthesiology.
Position Overview:
- Delivering anesthesia services to patients
- Educating residents through both clinical practice and theoretical instruction
- Supervising Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs)
- Opportunities for engaging in independent and collaborative research, along with innovative educational practices
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or a comparable degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted New York State Medical License and DEA
Compensation: Salary Range: $317,419 - $504,240 annually
The stated salary range reflects the minimum and maximum annual earnings for this faculty position. The actual salary will be determined based on various factors including market conditions, educational qualifications, professional experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. There may also be opportunities for performance-based compensation that can be discussed during the recruitment process.
