Bluetooth Engineer for Android

Location: Onsite in Newark, CA (hybrid schedule OK, but no full remote)
Contract Length: 6 months to start
Ideal Start Date: ASAP, with interviews starting as early as next week (October 7)
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Bluetooth engineer with expertise in Android apps and firmware development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Bluetooth BR/EDR and BLE protocols, as well as experience with the Android Framework and Bluetooth service/stack.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Bluetooth stack solutions for Android devices
- Collaborate with the infotainment department to ensure seamless connectivity between devices
- Debug and troubleshoot Bluetooth connectivity issues
- Communicate effectively with team members across different teams
- Experience in Bluetooth stack development
- Understanding of the Android Framework and Bluetooth service/stack
- Knowledge of C/C++/Java programming languages
- Experience with firmware development and embedded systems
