Position Overview:

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is currently seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel assignment. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will utilize your expertise to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and electronic records of procedures.
  • Participate in call rotations as required.

Requirements:
  • Active Virginia License.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Proficient in communication using SBAR techniques.
  • Experience with medication systems such as Pyxis.
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
  • Certification from NMTCB, CNMT, or ARRT.
  • Preferred experience in teaching hospitals and community hospitals.
  • Compliance with flu vaccine guidelines.

Work Schedule:

This position typically involves a schedule of 40 hours per week, with shifts spanning 8 hours during the day, Monday through Friday.
