Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art medical facility. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of nuclear medicine equipment.
Responsibilities- Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners, to produce high-quality images
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- At least one year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
