Clinical Tech

The Clinical Tech is a vital member of our Emergency Care team, providing direct patient care to patients with supervision by department nursing staff and/or physicians. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one of the following: current nursing student who has minimally completed two semesters, LPN, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assistant program completion, certification in Phlebotomy, or previous Clinical Tech experience.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with supervision by department nursing staff and/or physicians.
- Recognize differences in care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an acute care setting.
- Valid BLS certification or obtained during Patient Care Orientation.
