Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and execute the correct assembly procedure by analyzing production tickets and travelers.
  • Operate assembly machines according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Record information as required on production travelers and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Select production orders and associated components to be assembled, ensuring accurate processing and meeting customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic calculations.
  • Prior production experience is desirable.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly and 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Good working conditions and occasional exposure to disagreeable elements such as dust, dirt, fumes, heat, cold, noise, moisture, or oil.
