We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in the field of perioperative nursing.
Job Summary:The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room setting. This includes assessing patients before surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients during and after surgery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong commitment to patient safety.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients before surgery to identify potential risks and develop a plan for their care
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery
- Monitor patients after surgery to ensure they are recovering safely and effectively
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Document patient information and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Active RN license
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Weekly pay and direct deposit
