Baxter International is on a mission to transform the kidney care space and beyond. As a result-driven Procurement leader, you will play a critical role in driving value and excellence across our supply chain.

Your Role at Baxter

As a Procurement Transformation Leader, you will be responsible for leading Supply Chain and Logistics Procurement US and global contracts, with a total spend in excess of $250M+. You will drive procurement excellence and best value through our supply chain, focusing on cost, quality, and service for our US Region and global categories, such as ocean and air freight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies to drive best value across our supply chain
  • Lead the supplier selection, risk assessment, and contract negotiation process for key projects
  • Collaborate with internal partners to lead category strategies, pipeline items, and short/medium/long-term goals to support the ongoing delivery of product pipeline
  • Ensure that appropriate Supplier Relationship Management programs are in place for strategic and critical suppliers in the concerned categories of spend
  • Provide regular progress updates to Senior Leadership and key internal partners
What You'll Bring

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related areas
  • At least 10 years of industry-related experience
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate across the network and build credibility – Supply Chain, Logistic, Commercial, R&D, Manufacturing
  • Strong analytic and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of pricing models and contracts terms
  • Experience in contracting, including Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Amendments, and NDAs
  • Understanding of Procurement standard processes, supply markets, suppliers, and products
  • Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners

The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 to $170,000 annually.
