Key Responsibilities- Member Service: Provide personalized service to members, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Product Promotion: Promote and sell financial products and services to members, including loans, deposits, and other credit union offerings.
- Teller Transactions: Process teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve member complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner, escalating complex problems to management as needed.
- Account Maintenance: Update member information, open and close accounts, and conduct loan application interviews.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One year of current financial institution experience as a Teller or Member Service Representative, or two years of current sales, retail, or customer service experience with cash handling responsibilities.
- Skills: Intermediate-level proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Exceptional customer service skills and ability to offer solutions that meet member needs.
