Synerfac is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our client's team in Martinsville, VA. Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of wood products in North America.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect, install, troubleshoot, repair, and service electrical equipment, including motors, generators, pumps, and illumination systems.
- Perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, and properties of materials.
- Run conduit and wire/rewire systems, and provide PLC programming support.
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to assemble equipment and follow work procedures.
- Diagnose and repair issues with motors, controllers, PLCs, and other electrical and electronic systems.
- 3+ years of experience working as an Electrician in an Industrial setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment, hydraulic equipment, control circuits, motors, and other electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge and experience with logic control systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and adjustable frequency AC drives.
