Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Imperial Dade. As a key member of our Operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse is compliant with our company's policies and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure productivity targets are achieved and all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
  • Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with our company's policies and vision.
  • Oversee receiving and warehousing operations, including setup and layout to ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system.
  • Annual budget involvement and financial planning.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure seamless operations.
  • Plan work and assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly.
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Warehouse Management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety Management, surveillance, and inventory control skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration or equivalent experience.
