Position Summary:
The Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology lab procedures. This position involves preparing the clinical environment, managing equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with various procedures including arteriograms, catheterizations, and device implantations.
- Ensure compliance with national and state radiation safety regulations.
- Provide emergency care as needed, including CPR and defibrillation.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any irregularities to the physician.
- Operate advanced technology such as RF/Cryo ablation systems and 3D mapping tools.
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and quality control data.
- Manage inventory and ensure the procedure rooms are well-stocked and equipment is functional.
- Participate in training and orientation of new staff members.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and departmental governance.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Less than one year of relevant experience in a cardiovascular lab setting.
- Required certifications include ACLS and BLS within 30 days of hire.
