Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Medical Administrative Assistant, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate patient access to services.
  • Coordinating administrative functions for Veterans, caregivers, and clinical staff.
  • Maintaining accurate health and administrative records within the healthcare management systems.
  • Developing strong working relationships with clinical and administrative teams.
  • Interpreting and applying relevant regulations and policies regarding healthcare benefits.
  • Assisting in the management of patient appointments and ensuring compliance with scheduling directives.
  • Conducting audits and surveys to enhance operational procedures and data collection.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to outpatient clinics and the main healthcare facility.

Work Environment:
This position typically operates within a standard work schedule, Monday through Friday.
