Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and physician assistants with patient exams, preparing materials and supplies as needed.
- Collect and analyze patient data, including vital signs, medical history, and test results.
- Provide direct patient care, including vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
- Collect and prepare patient specimens for laboratory testing.
- Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve quality improvement goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the practice.
Requirements:
- One year of supervisory experience in a medical office setting.
- Medical knowledge and terminology.
- Computer skills and data entry experience.
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Nursing.
- Five years of job-related experience.
- Previous medical office experience.
Working Conditions:
